“The simplicity is astounding. My clients are amazed.” - Mark Ford, Perth.

Everyone's had a 'moment' in their life. Whether they were part of it, or just witnesses it, everyone can recall a moment where everything went exactly right, they were in the flow of the moment and it is nestled away in their memory banks for ever!
Mental Imagery Training has become a well accepted part of sports performance for both the mental and physical preparation of an athlete - through the development of mental rehearsal practices to imagine moving through the exact motion of a certain skill or set-play - to recreate that feeling of being in the moment.

These mental rehearsals are repeated because they are known to work! Equally, research has shown that practicing errors or wrong images produces a tendency to perform those errors. So it's obvious to choose the images that best reflect the desired outcome.
Previous to now the term "skill" has been used in relation to a combination of individually co-ordinated components that make up a movement outcome, but a new form of "skill" training is about to become even more useful than before
FRANKLIN METHOD IMAGERY TRAINING is the avenue to achieving this new potential for the human body.

The FRANKLIN METHOD takes the approach that all complex skills are made up of individual body movements coordinated as the outcome. It recognizes the most important parts of each movement, and applies sound principles of coordination, balance, alignment, and flexibility to develop the most effective use of the body for that skill. This leaves the athlete with the greatest sense of their own body to achieve improvements in both technique and performance.

BALANCE & CONTROL PILATES STUDIO Co-Director Bruce Hildebrand is the only Franklin Method Educator in the Southern Hemisphere, trained to offer this form of specialised imagery exercises.

As your mind lives in your nervous system, and your nervous system lives everywhere in your body, the best training tools are those which consider this important relationship. Come, try the FRANKLIN METHOD for yourself to reap the benefits of this highly effective performance oriented training approach.

Besides - when was the last time your imagination was really captured?
