Fiona Sexton – Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

APMA Certified Pilates Instructor
Background: 10 years physiotherapy experience. Fiona has worked in Community Rehabilitation for 7 years, primarily treating clients post orthopaedic surgery (incuding hip/knee replacements and spinal surgery). She also has extensive experience treating clients with falls and balance issues and varied neurological disorders. Fiona has worked as a Pilates instructor with BCPS since 2008 and enjoys rehabilitating clients following back injury, treating pre- and post-natal clients as well as teaching group classes. Fiona enjoys integrating her physiotherapy and Pilates knowledge to help rehabilitate her clients so they can get the most out of their bodies
Interests: Pilates, travel, relaxation, dancing, and cooking.

Hoe Ping Lo - Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

Background: Hoe Ping is a graduate from Melbourne University with 8 years of pilates experience and 4 years teaching experience in clinical pilates. Hoe Ping has an interest in spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. She is qualified in dry needling and her manual skills include mobilisation of the spine to relieve pain. Hoe Ping also works part time at the hospital doing home visits treating clients with musculoskeletal, neurological and balance issues.
Interests: Outdoor activities, snowboarding, travelling.

Sally-Ann Miller – Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Background:  Sally-Ann Miller is a qualified Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor who recently retuned from London where she worked as a Physiotherapist and ski Instructor for 2 years. She is passionate about helping people return to their optimum physical and mental health through the use of pilates. Identifying biomechanical dysfunction is paramount to the assessment and treatment of her patients. Sally-Ann has experience working with both amateur and elite athletes in Australian Rules Football, Aerial Skiing and Cricket. She enjoys teaching pilates to pre and post natal women. Prior to her life as a Physiotherapist, Sally-Ann was a geoligist and Ski Instructor.
Interests:  Include, skiing, rowing, outdoor activities such as hiking, ocassional triathalons, piano, travelling and participating in all sports.

Sarah Smith – Osteopath and Pilates Instructor

 Background: Sarah’s experience as an Osteopath has given her a great understanding of various injuries and their rehabilitation. She has extensive knowledge in the treatment of postural aches and pains such as lower back pain, neck pain and headaches, She has a special interest in the treatment of pre and post-partum women, having completed her masters in Osteopathic Treatment for Pregnant Patients. Sarah has completed the Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation training, and has also completed postgraduate studies in the area of Exercise Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Paediatrics, Advanced Muscle Energy technique, Cranio-sacral therapy, Biodynamics, and Dry needling.

Background: Tanya has been an educator and fitness instructor for 14 years. She has taught Pilates since 2004, and has been a lecturer in Anatomy and Functional Anatomy since 2000. Utilizing her extensive training and practical experience in the education, fitness, rehabilitation, and Pilates fields, Tanya adapts her knowledge to train individuals of all ages and levels of health & fitness.
 Interests: Tanya loves travel experiences that completely immerse her in communities different to our own. She has enjoyed working in communities in Africa and her love of adventure travel has lead her to visit giraffe and elephant orphanages in Kenya, orangutangs in Borneo, and sled dogs in the Arctic circle. Tanya enjoys attempting to surf, teaching group exercise classes, bongo drums, dancing, and learning!!

Background: As a myotherapist, gymnast, and keen sportswoman, Vicki has worked for several years developing her hands-on musculo-skeletal treatment skills with Elite Myotherapy.  Vicki now brings these skills to her Pilates teaching with specific interest in helping her clients overcome postural related injuries through a combination of Pilates and Myotherapy

Jade O'Hare

Jade O’Hare – Pilates Instructor
APMA Certified Pilates Teacher
Background: 15 years in dance, specializing in ballet, including training at the English National Ballet and the Victorian College of the Arts. 5 years Pilates teaching experience; 12 years Pilates participant. Jade has special expertise in training dancers and integrating ballet specific movements and repertoire into her teaching.
Interests: Jogging, travel, movies, and reading.

Zac Jones -Pilates Instructor
APMA Certified Pilates Instructor
Background: Zac has been a valued member of the Balance & Control team since April 2007.  Zac graduated from the Australian Ballet School in 1996 and has been actively involved in the dance community ever since.   He danced professionally with Queensland Ballet for 2 years and then Complexions Contemporary Dance Company in Queensland for 2 years.In 2009 and 2010 Zac returned to the Australian Ballet School in a teaching role in strength and conditioning.  Zac trained in Pilates under the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) in 2006, and also holds a black belt in Aikido.Zac has a strong interest in movement imagery to help his clients facilitate a deeper understanding of the body in movement and brings a wealth of knowledge to his classes for his clients.
Alison Shirley -Pilates Instructor
APMA Certified Instructor
Background: Alison is an APMA qualified instructor who has been teaching for 7 years in and around Melbourne.
Her movement experience includes gymnastics, contemporary dance training, teaching dance and Aussie Rules football.
She holds a graduate certificate in Advanced Anatomy.
Interests: include dance, choreography and photography.

Mollie Hildebrand -Pilates Instructor
Polestar Certified Instructor and Assistant Educator
Background: Mollie has been teaching Pilates for 10 years and was previously the co-director of The Pilates Centre Mosman in Sydney for 4 years. Mollie has extensive training through Polestar Pilates including working up to a role as an Assistant Educator of training programs throughout Australia.  Mollie is a very passionate instructor and has a special interest in the healing benefits of Pilates
Interests: Her love of dance and movement are evident in her teaching and she aims to assist clients in achieving ongoing results in their daily lives.  Mollie has recently returned to teaching from maternity leave so can now bring her pregnancy experience to the many women that we see in the studios.
